Our Mission Statement

The mission of the South Bannock Library District is to improve the quality of life for all citizens of our community by providing resources that enhance and contribute to individuals’ knowledge, enlightenment, and enjoyment in the most efficient manner possible. We especially recognize our responsibility to serve as a place for children to discover the joy of reading and the value of libraries.

Family Reading Week 2025

Make sure to stop at your local library between November 3rd-7th for our annual Family Reading Week! Pick up a reading log to track all the pages you read during the week; 1- Grand Prize Winner in the district with a 1st, 2nd, and a 3rd prize for each library

New Stops for the Bookmobile

We’re adding 2 new stops for the Bookmobile! On every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month it will be in Swan Lake at Thomas Mercantile from 3-6 pm and on every 3rd Monday of the month it will be in Arimo at the School District Office from 10:30 am

Friday Fun Lab and Game Day are back!

Our Friday Fun Lab (fun STEAM projects and learning) and our Game Day (so many fun games) are starting back up on Fridays at the McCammon and Downey Libraries! 1st Friday of the month: Game Day in Downey 2nd Friday of the month: Friday Fun Lab in McCammon 3rd Friday
